Mines a 5 speed I've had it up to 132mph going downhill. The fastest I've gotten it too on flat ground is 121. I don't recommend exceeding 115 on stock suspension, it gets a little sketchy because the suspension is kinda floaty.

My 2015 Honda Civic EX Sedan CVT went 112 mph. It didn't seem to like it very well. In fact my 2014 Nissan Versa SV CVT Sedan went 110 mph and it seemed more steady than my Civic. My Civic has 143 hp and my Versa has 109 hp.

I just got a 2010 Honda Civic about three weeks ago and I love it. However, 119 MPH seems a little obscure. It could probably hit 120, no?

Well good for you. Civics have a 1.8 liter compared to a miatas 2.0 liter that makes almost 30 more hp, requires premium gasoline and get lousy fuel economy compared to a Civic.
And Civics are heavier than miatas too, yet the still get much better fuel economy. Civics are a much better car!! Try to find a miata that lasted over 622, 000 miles. Search 1, 000, 000 kilometer civic if you don't believe me. Post a video of your miata at 145.

Did  ever shift out of third gear? The video shows you were in D3 - which means you had 2 more gears if you'd had it in D
