Follow along some of our fantastic workers and find out more about how it is to work at the US onshore wind sites with wind turbines and renewable energy.
In this video you get to see more of our onshore wind sites, Cedar Creek 2 in Colorado, Flat Ridge 2 in Kansas, and Mehoopany, Pennsylvania, and get to know how it is to work with renewable energy. Onshore wind is now about 10% of the power generated in the US and will most likely continue to grow up to 30% of the total power demand by 2050. Al Vickers, who has worked with energy for 25 years, works at one of the massive wind farms which 1000 turbines occupy. Al believes that over the next 30 years, wind turbines will be even more important for energy production. Amber Whitlock feels excitement about being a part bp wind and the fact that we are capturing something that we cannot see and making it into something that provides power.
