Purpose by Design welcomes Terryl Daluz - an award winning playwright, creative writer, actor, and change-agent and mindset coach who shares with us his amazing journey and some wonderful wisdom.

At a young age, Terryl loved speaking in front of his class, entertaining people and putting smiles on his classmates' faces. Around 17 years of age, he toured with numerous rappers and was an avid dancer. He talks about being turned away at a local acting spot where the greats used to hang at in the beginning of their careers. He was initially turned away but went back and said he will start from the bottom and persisted for a chance.
One night out, he ended up in the middle of gunfire and was actually shot. God had a plan for this young man - the doctor said that if it was a couple inches over, he would have been paralyzed. God protected Terryl.

Terryl motivates and talks about manifestation, intentionality, and mindset. He talks about a dream he once had of a chair he came across in a local store that was a little out of his price range at the time. He said to himself that he WILL sit in the chair in his yard at one point in time, though not today. That night, he had a dream of that very chair and told his wife about it the next morning. That very day, he was driving and saw something in the middle of the road. He stopped and went to take a look: it was that very chair even with the price tag on it. He to this day has that chair in his yard, which has been designated his “writing chair”.

Mr. Daluz encourages those who don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel to keep pressing forward, and to keep your attention on the dream, not on your current circumstances. intentionality is important, and if you are not where you envision yourself being, that is just fine and likely you will be stronger, and be molded for your future purpose (rather it is this or something else). He teaches that mindset and intentionality and what we pay attention to matters! We need to keep our eyes on the prize as when we limit ourselves we limit our greatness.
