Jágr himself said, that if he hadn't gone to Russia, he wouldn't have played that long.

I feel like his choice helped the most for many. Even if he played he had little to prove. I hope the nhl just omits the eligibility period and immediately inducts him to HOF after he retires. A guy like him shouldn't wait to get in.

impressive he is standing third on team in scoring with 21 points in 27 games even if the league is not the NHL or KHL thats still very impressive at almost 50.

Yeah, he wanted to play closer to home - not 6550 km but only 4550 km :D

The KHL was a time of rest and injury healing cause the short schedule. It prolonged his career I think

You should also prorate the numbers to a full NHL season.

You can't do that. you can't just add on his numbers from KHL to NHL. You have calculated his scoring pace in NHL and extended the timeline. For example, if he were scoring 5% less points every year for the last five years, u should have calculated that rate of decline for the next three years. You can mix apples and oranges and come up with a number.

If Jagr had had the desire being "closer to home" he certainly would not have moved to Omsk which is 4670 km away from Kladno and has no direct flight connection with Prague. In New York he practically was much closer to home than in Omsk.

Jagr will play in Kladno untill he is older than Howe so he can come over and play one last NHL season or game, just to break that record. He wont be able to tie or break the 5 decades of hockey (he would be one year of sadly) but to break the record for the oldest player in the leagues history will most likely cement him as a legend on the game even further and longer.

you should do a video on NHL 19 franchise mode
but make the team all enforcers

Not sure if you still do these type of videos but what if New Jersey beat the rangers in 94 and went on to win the Stanley cup?

It really was stupid of Sather to not bring Jagr back. He used that money for Naslund who was done.

What if Jagr plays Pittsburgh Penguins for his rest of NHL career?
