Yes, jaromir jagr is still playing and just began his 36th pro season with kladno and got a point. His number 68 is being retired by the pittsburgh penguins this season and somehow he's still playing pro hockey . This is different from the nhl highlights today and news / trade rumors coverage, if you like it make sure to like and subscribe. On this channel we cover everything nhl hockey on a daily basis, but like to mix in rankings, top 10, mic'd up and on-ice funny moments and videos similar to this one. Im gonna go watch jaromir jagr highlights after this and I can't wait for his pittsburgh penguins jersey retirement and his interviews leading up to it. Nhl 2023

Favorite NHL Jagr memory? Mine is his goal with the flames off the pass from Gaudreau - Was in the building that night and it was a really cool moment.

Would be wild to see Jagr suit up for warm ups after the ceremony in Pittsburgh

Love this guy. When he came to Florida he absolutely made Barkov and Hubredeau into the players they are today.

Jagr is a definite first ballot hall of famer! No doubt about it! He can definitely be a coach and whatever he says his players are going to listen!

I've never heard/seen his explanation for playing so long, and honestly, this just made me love him and his career even more. What a role model, what an inspiration, what a perfect man.

Jagr is still a plus player, damn... impressive.
And he plays for the survival and honor of his father's, long held, team.

When he was in Dallas I was playing mens hockey twice a week. He was staying in a hotel across the street from that rink and after our mens league games he would skate. He'd have all his weights on, the vest, pushing tires and shit. He would have a younger guy or two and they would pass to him and he would take a bunch of shots. But mostly he did edge work and tight puck handling drills. we usually got off around 1130, midnight and he would be out there an hour or so. What was crazy to me is he didnt want them to zam the ice. He wanted it all chewed up because it created resistance and the puck could roll or hop around and he wanted that challenge. He was cool too, didnt care we would hang out for 10/20 minutes drinking beer and watching him. He would sign shit to if you caught him before or after. super chill dude.

He's the modern day Gordie Howe. Keep it up Jaromir, 10 more.

I get it. My dad and his buddies are in their 60s and play twice a week. Some of those guys are flying out there, and all of them are having fun. Its not exercise when you love it.

I own signed Jágr autobiography. Published after he won his first Art Ross. In 1995. Beautifully absurd item.

I've loved Jaromir since I was 10 (1990) the sickest mitts while I was growing up an Eternal Red Wings fan, too.
If he's able to come into the play when he's feeling it, maybe another 4-6 years (hopefully more)

He may be my favorite hockey personality of all time. I don't think that is a sad message. It's a sad message for the club, but it overflows with character and integrity that is nothing but commendable.

The only other player that comes to mind is Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe. Gordie retired at the end of the 1970-71 season. The next year, his number 9 was retired from the Detroit Red Wings on March 12, 1972. Then, he went on to play with his boys in the WHA. Then, Mr. Howe finished his career in the NHL with the Hartford Whalers at the age of 52 at the end of the 1979-80 season.

it's impressive but the fact he is playing to keep the team afloat is really sad... i hope he still finds joy out on the ice.
