This might be a year old video, but I'm still having issues with my Verizon Gateway fan. Already replaced the original one because the fan(that was located on the bottom) would never turn on/spin up so we swapped it for a newer model. Basically same issue, only the fan will spin up when you first plug in the router then it shuts off. If you didn't notice yours did the exact same thing, you can hear it turning off before you're video ends and it won't spin up no matter how hot the device gets unless you unplug and plug it back I'm. Then it just repeats, spins up, turns off & stays off. This shit is ridiculous

So my arcadyan has a fan too. But it has never turned on. Not even plugging it in. So I wonder if it was never enabled in my firmware
