Around 1:04 it is said a 700C is 700mm, not to be confused with centimeters. However, I believe a 700C is 622mm and not 700mm. Please correct if I'm wrong, though :)

I'm lookin at getting thinner tyres for my mtb but the tyres I have are not standard, until this video I didn't have a point of reference to determine what new inner tube and tyre would match up with the rim.

Thankyou you realy helped, my wheelchair wheels are 24x175 in UK it's almost impossible to find chunky tires with a decent tread with that rim width, I was going to try slightly larger size and hope the rim would hold it, I often wondered what that other number was so thankyou.

It’s so complicated that I don’t want to ride my bike anymore. The human species can take something that was so simple, when I was a kid, my friends used to go to a junk yard. We’d find a frame, hopefully that still had a chain and back tire. And then we’d find handlebars and front tires and mix and match. We’d take them back to our stoop in Brooklyn and put them together with found or old tools. It took some negotiating but wasn’t like this. I’m seriously exhausted from all these measurements. And let’s keep it to inches. Simple is better. I really feel it’s done to weed out lower class or less educated people. I feel so dumb right now. I just want to ride my bike with my kids this summer. No ulterior motives. And there’s so many of these videos. You’d think, there’s one way to measure your bike tire… nope! Thanks for the info but maybe I’ll just play frisbee with my kids. Bye!
