I bought an 07 with 295k on it for $3, 200 and It's the very best vehicle I've ever owned or driven. 1 family. Taken care of so well.. I gotta replace the rear tailgate motor and a few fuses but man...I would recommend this vehicle to anyone!

Saw a guy at gas station today, in what looked like an AMG. It was huge, but only had a 4 cylinder turbo, in this rather large Mercedes sedan. He said he liked it; and didn't abuse it. He also looked like gear head. Beautiful automobile.

That 3.5 V6 Engine is prone to having a Front Timing Cover Oil leak after 100k, , , and it's an Expensive Engine out Repair, , , other than that it's a good Toyota/Lexus Engine, , , so if you're considering buying one, look under the front passenger side for any Oil Drops on the Ground

Could be just the tires! My RX got noisy like that. Thought it was the bearings, changed them, no change. New tires..noise gone! Love the RX!

Toyota/Lexus 2GR V6 engines are the best. I owned three; in a 2008 Lexus ES 350, 2019 Lexus ES 350, and 2019 Lexus GS 350. The 2008 ES 350 V6 was the most simple with port fuel injection only but that car had the notorious cold start timing gear rattle. Other than that the engine was solid. The 2019 ES 350 V6 was the quietist and most fuel-efficient. The 2019 GS 350 V6 is the most powerful with a nice throaty sounding, but it was the thirstiest engine of the bunch.

Scotty, I think on your test drive I saw a red 66 Chrysler, or similar - in would be neat to approach that neighbor and ask about the details - my mom had a 66, very long lived, 383 seemed like a great engine with pretty good gas mileage on the road (better than my damn Vega and the time) - and transmission was bulletproof. I know you are not a Chrysler fan - but that was a nice car for highway driving -

The Toyota's & Lexus's made in the late 90s and early 2000s were very well-built, reliable, and long-lasting. Unfortunately the new cars aren't built that way anymore

I bought a 2013 Acura RDX and I love it. I blacked out the front chrome and now it looks good, too. It only had 92K miles on it when I bought it last March. I still don't have a car payment. I moved up from a 2007 Civic. It's all about perspective!

2011 Sienna 3.5v6 216, 000 miles runs perfect; valve cover gasket proved totally clean inside. Family wants me to get rid and get f it.
