Advanced DND 5E Character Build Guides

Learn how to build this Advanced character for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition

Today’s build is the Tabaxi Way of the Shadow Monk, Soulknife Rogue multi class.
The Tabaxi Shadowdancer as we call it, is an unarmed, unarmored, hit and run specialist who is one of the most well rounded thieves in DND fifth edition. A Rogue that has it all, scouting, lock and traps expert, damage dealer with the ability to teleport in and out of shadows, walk on water or up vertical surfaces. An incredibly fast moving combat specialist able to reach backline casters or archers who can survive while surrounded by multiple assailants and get out without a scratch. Leveraging incredible acrobatics, martial arts and feline dexterity armed with only his claws, catching arrows and axes thrown his way only to be sent hurling back to their owner.
Truly an advanced character build.

I've always wanted to play a tabaxi rogue....I just thought I wanted it to be a swashbuckler. I really like the idea of this concept though. Not needing to use weapons so you can throw projectiles back, throwing psi (read shadow) daggers, insane mobility, stepping through shadows....it dials that quick agility rogue up to 11 when paired with the feline/monk aspects. Awesome video and build concept. I just wish you went into a little more detail on level progression and combat tactics.

So the psi whisper ability is is broken due to on field tactics and communication and it being a mile long free action communication splitting the party to do other things while keeping in touch is strong
