You can also use a calculator and divide the numerator by the denominator and get a decimal for each. Compare the decimal numbers and the one with largest one is correct.

25/28 =0.892
53/59 = 0.898 ✅
93/105 = 0.885

Does it work for all kinds of fractions?

I’d love to see a proof. He gets the right answer, but I’m not really following why. Personally, since there isn’t an obvious answer, I’d just pop these into a calculator and compare the decimal approximations.

The biggest fraction will always the the one that is closest to 1 - a whole number

Is it applicable for every fraction?? Don't think so .

I always thought fractions were parts of a whole. The denominator, being, how many parts will equal the whole and the numerator, being, the number of parts the whole is divided into.

Therefore, in my cursory view of the question, I immediately concluded that 25 over 28 was the biggest since it only needed three parts to make it whole (25+3=28 ... 28 over 28 = 1)

Maybe my definition of "the biggest" is misunderstood, or my reasoning doesn't apply to every condition.
