Yes to both acotar and TOG reading vlogs! I'm currently filming a TOG reading vlog with spoilers and I'm hoping to have it ready by the end of the month. I'm voting for TOG first just because I'm obsessed with this series 😂 but acotar would be fantastic as well! I agree with the Cruel prince critique- while I did overall enjoy the books and I read them super fast, there were just so few scenes between Jude and Cardan - imo it had great potential but I really wanted more of their interactions. In addition while Jude was presented as tough and someone one does not want to cross, she was quite forgiving and making nice with everyone (e.g. her sister betrayed her several times, but she immediately jumped to her help)

I’m finishing ACOTAR now (Chapter 35 in Court of Silver Flames), so I would love an ACOTAR reread video. I’m a newer avid reader and I’m still soso about ACOTAR but I’d like to see your reaction rereading them after being exposed to so many fantasy novels now. ❤️

I also read What Lies Beyond the Veil immediately after I finished ACOTAR based on everyone's recommendations, and I have never been so disappointed by a book. It was so far from what ACOTAR is, and I feel so validated to hear someone felt the same way I did. It just did not even feel like a real book and hurt my soul to read.

Then I read Zodiac Academy, and I will forever be a Zodiac Academy defender bc those books are like reality tv for my brain hahaha I am obsessed.

I really reccomend the Shilohverse by Jessie Walker! The books are super angsty though (but that makes it better) and her character work and development is glorious!

I can't wait for you to read the One Dark Window duology. Another book that falls in that gothic fantasy vibe is A Study in Drowning. This is a bit of a hit or miss for people but I absolutely loved it, and I feel like you and I tend to have similar taste!

since you live for the plot, the politics and the fantasy….I think you would LOVE Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. Do not let the size of them intimidate you. They are perfect epic fantasy, incredible characters, top tier world building and magic and intrigue and strategizing. Book 5 (the final one of this arc) comes out in December!

Girl yes we have a lot of similar faves and we got into reading around the same time bc I didn't become obsessed until November of last year and now I am on my 90th book for this year! Crazy lol. I loved Throne of Glass and Acotar of course, and Kingdom of the Wicked too! Girl you need to read Throne Of The Fallen I loved it even more and gave it a 5 stars and I can't wait for Throne of Secrets! Also loved Lightlark series and can't wait for the 3rd book either! Also sorry you didn't love Cruel Prince, I really did and loved the duology as well. Also loved Happy Place and the One Dark Window Duoilogy was great too. I really want to read the Gods and Monsters series now but ugh so many I want to read!! Ministry of Time was interesting too I just recently read it and I finally dove into the Magnolia Park Universe today and I am obsessed! Oh and I also loved the Once Upon A Broken Heart Trilogy too and i need to read Caraval too. And love Powerless but I didn't love Recklss lol.
