I got one of those back sleeping pillows about a week ago and holy crap I never quite realized how deep my side sleeping was making my nasolabial folds and other wrinkles. Just sleeping strictly on my back for a week I think it reduced those wrinkles by like 40-50% which is pretty wild!

I have had these folds since I was young. My dad has very very deep folds as well. I used to be very very self conscious about it but now I say...it just means I have had a happy life and I smile a lot 😀 I still however use my sun protection, my vitamin A, my sleep, etc etc

Haven’t started the video yet, ten bucks says sunscreen is one of the ways

What really stinks is when one side of the mouth has a deeper, longer line than the other side. Asymmetry does NOT help one's appearance.

The reason I hate my increasingly noticeable nasolabial folds is that, at rest, they actually make me look more sad and grumpy (even though they are partly a result of smiling, go figure). I think that is aging in itself.

people in my country seem to love those smile lines! i do too. i think they're beautiful and show that the person is cheerful 😁

I never comment, but this is my favorite video you’ve done. My smile lines are the most obvious sign of aging. Getting on retinol as soon as baby number 4 is delivered!

I’m 37 and I’ve recently gotten my first filler because of these folds. I thought I would never do filler but here we are. Getting older sucks.

After months of watching your YouTube videos... I can definitely say that Tretinoin and simple skin care with good SPF daily helps alot. Thanks alot Dr.Dray

Smile lines looks amazing, they tell how your life was happy, they tell that you laughed and had fun. I love me

I completely understand why some may want to fix theirs, but I love mine. It’s my life smile record. ❣️

Hi Dr Dray! I’m an Italian medical student 💉 I always enjoy your videos ☺️
I’ve started to use peptides (buffet serum from the ordinary) about 2 months ago and it made my nasolabial folds (that I’ve always had) almost disappear completely! I hope that in the future there will be more research on peptides and their anti-aging role 💪🏻
Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹 ☺️

I will never stop singing your praises Dr Dray! I have spent so much money on skincare and now use minimal & drugstore products, liberally apply sunscreen, and love tretinoin! Skin has never been better!

I gave up smoking and started retinol and face yoga. It helped dramatically

I am vegan, so you know basically what I eat. I also, go to an esthetician 1X a month for various treatments. Laser, facials, another different laser. etc. This has really helped my face tremendously. Love your channel a lot. Thanks for your hard work.

I'm 22F who never smokes, don't ever touch alcohol, never had too much of sun exposure, started wearing sunscreen last year but still have got laugh lines & tear trough/dark circles and what not. Thanks to bad genes. 🤡😭 OMG! honestly, it hurts a lot when you see people with trash skincare or rather no skincare and sunscreen at all look more youthful than you do.

Hello, Dr. Dray! I just wanted to mention how much you inspire and motivate me during my college/medical school grind. I plan on becoming a dermatologist as this has been my dream job ever since I was little. I know you have many highly requested subjects to discuss on your channel, but it would mean the world if you could make a video explaining your journey on becoming a dermatologist. Also, if there's any advice, you would give to other pre-med students who want to pursue a career as a Dermatologist.
Thank you so much!

Everyone, please thumbs this up so Dr. Dray can see it because she probably won't :(

Thanks for the info! This has actually been one of my biggest concerns. I’m 26 and I already have to deal with these smile lines. I blame smoking cigarettes. I’m just glad I was able to quit for good.

22 almost 23 and started getting these folds slightly after losing a ton of weight. My face is skinnier than it’s ever been which is great but then I noticed these folds coming in. Also my under eye circles got more pronounced too. Never had an issue with this until then!
