Wondering if this was Ricks first time in prison. In the first episode when he and morty were escaping and shooting at the aliens he tells morty "you have no idea what prison is like here" or something along those lines

This song breaks me. It fills the whole setting. Rick is accused for a selfish, cruel man, but stuff like this goes to show he is dealing with depression and clearly wants to die. He sacrificed himself for his family. He did the right thing.

Looking back, this was the peak of Rick's character, a chance for him to develop since he finally took responsibility. But in s3 they just made him this all powerful diety, and now people complain he's "took weak" in later seasons
