The fact that my mom was standing in the middle of the living room as soon as i saw this short 😭😭😭

So basically, the girl tried to call her mother a bunch of times at the beginning. The mom texted her that she couldn’t talk, and the girl replied with “something smells rotten in the house.” The girl then goes in the living room and locks the windows, and when she turned around her mom looks to be there. Then, her mom starts FaceTiming her and saying stuff like “sorry I missed your call sweetie, are you ok it looks like you’ve seen a ghost.” Then the creepy weird mother comes really close to her smiling and the mom is still on the phone asking what’s wrong. Then it cuts to her house and a FaceTime hang up noise and the short is over

honestly this hits close to home because I've experienced hallucinations similar to that. id see a family member just staring at me and not speaking (or sometimes making certain motions), only to find out a few minutes later that they were long asleep in a different room during this 'interaction', or that they were never even home in the first place)

it really messes with you the more it happens and makes you question reality. I've had a lot of times where i didn't want to interact with somebody because i didn't know whether they were real or not, and the worst part is that I still don't know if interactions I've had like that years ago were real or not.
