SRAM T-Type #flattop CHAINS introduced with the new #srammtb Eagle XX and X0 Transmission measured next to the old Eagle 12 Speed chains. Is this the smooth transition to 13 speed drivetrains??? It is, SRAM just introduced their 13 speed #xplr groupset using the same chain.

I'd love to know how well aftermarket chainrings work with the T-Type. Woolftooth for example makes one that apparently is compatible

I would love to see how well/bad would work the transmission cassette, t-type chain and t-type compatible chainring along with eagle mechanical derailleur and shifter.

I think I will wait for the 36 speed cassette.

I hope you will do backpedalling test on the 52T cog.

This new chain is the same as the flat top 12s sram road chains, I use a Force w/ XO ttype cassete, it works perfectly, the only problem is that road chains are offered in a maximum of 120 links (my Levo uses a 118 link chain).

Does the new Sram 12 chain work with the old Eagle cassette?
I think the differences are so small in terms of dimensions.
Has anyone tried it?

Are the Flattop Red chains cross-compatible with the new T-type drivetrains?

Could you try frankensteining the sram t type derailleur and shifter onto a shimano cassette and chain? I'm curious if it is even possible now with the new sram drivetrain considering that the past axs works fine on that combo and what's gonna be the performance like

So sounds like I can't use my eagle quick links as backups for my t type chain?

Miss the weight ☹️☹️
Thank you anyway for the video!

Do you know if these are dimensionally the same as the road flat top chains? They both have oversize diameter rollers. It could be a lot cheaper to use a SRAM force flat top chain than a t-type

What about the first version of the AXS drive train? Doesn't it use the old cranks and old chain? Thanks for the video!

i try the new chain with the old crank chainring ( spark rc 2023) and did not fit so well. Can i use the old XX1 chain with the new cassete with no problems?

Is the spacing between each gear on the cassette the same or narrower?
I presume the teeth are narrower.
It will be interesting to see how long the t-type cassette and chain lasts.
Consumables are getting expensive.
