Super cool. I ride Red AXS on my road bike and GX AXS on the mountain, but have always liked mechanical for bikepacking due to the simplicity and lack of batteries. Curious to see how the XPLR AXS drivetrain is received.

Why SRAM didn't max the lowest gear to 50t. I mean it's 13 speed yet the range still sucks for a 1 by set up

What a very well thoughtout groupset. Gravel bikes are progressing fast. If only gravel roads existed outside of marketing hype. I could get into my car, fire up the satnav and ask Alexa or Bettina or George [whichever bot is on duty that day] and say take me to the gravel roads everyone seems to think exists. At which point Alexa will say 'erm, well, there is gravel right here so our destination is now our starting point - I have just saved you fuel and time, you're welcome. Because lo and behold my front garden is covered in the stuff.

Sadly the ride won't be the most exhilarating. I'll probably knock over the dustbins and my neighbours dustbins, their Cat too, whch will be deliberate - I can't stand Cats, not even the musical.

And to think this gravel fantasy is happening right in front of me. Oy vey, eyes wide shut hmm. It seems the handshake has been usurped by calling out your bank card's PIN. Here take what you want, just so long as I'm not left behind in this important fashionable moment...When I return to my own planet this will not result in a favourable report, just saying...
