This is actually harrowing to watch. I'm not at all transphobic, I'm just sad that people's mental health and their thoughts and reality about themselves is so bad that they end up mutilating their bodies to somehow _correct_ their psychosis and try to become something that they can never become.

It's a sad world when someone is so messed up in their head that they'll mutilate a perfectly healthy body, and transition from a woman, to a woman without breasts.

There's going to be a point in Elliot's life when she realises that going as far as she possibly can in transitional surgery still doesn't make her male, or a man. And then what? Nowhere left to go, and she'll still have the mental issues.

You can actually see her devolve into madness. You see her go from a beautiful, healthy and talented young women to a rail thin, scarred up, tired looking shell of her former self. Its 2023 and nothing about "Elliott" comes across as happy. 😢

if gender (a “social construct”) and sex (the biological part) are separated, then why do you have to change things at a biological level while you are transitioning your gender?

What happened to this woman is very tragic. She has been lied to repeatedly and she has paid for cosmetic surgeons to butcher her body and do horrible things to it. And so many clueless people blindly stand by this mutilation.

I watched an interview by a much older transgender (60s). They actually de transitioned and regretted all the surgeries. I remember they said "When we support someone being transgender, we may be unwittingly be supporting someone's mental health problems." I wish elliot the best.
