'Juno' star Elliot Page formerly Ellen Page shows how his body has changed a year after surgery

Actor Elliot Page shared a photo on #Instagram, to show fans how his body has changed a year after his transformation. The 'Umbrella Academy' star, formerly known as Ellen Page, came out as transgender in December 2020.

Elliot shared a shirtless #selfie online and the #Internet is all praise for the actor. The 34-year-old actor, who has starred in films such as 'Juno' and 'Inception', showed off a torso in the photo where the scars from his #mastectomy are still visible.

In the caption of the photo, Elliot ironically noted that he just wanted to say about buying a new smartphone. “Oh, it's good that my new phone works “, Elliot wrote.

Elliot had top surgery as part of his transition. This involves the removal of the breast tissue to create a masculine chest. In May 2021, Elliot first posed shirtless publicly since undergoing the surgery.

In a tell-all conversation with #OprahWinfrey on Apple TV+ in April 2021, the 34-year-old said he had known he was a boy since he was a toddler. Elliot opened up about the moment he saw himself in the mirror for the first time after coming out of the shower following his transition. "You're just like, 'there I am'. I'm not having the moment where I'm panicked, I'm not having all those little moments. It's being able to touch my chest and feel comfortable in my body probably for the first time", he said.

Never understood the irony of this, you need to go through unnatural changes to feel more natural. I totally understand people want what they want, but I feel it's weird to have to go through this much trouble just to be who you feel you need to be. Are you going through this change to please yourself or society? It almost feels like people do this just to fit in were society labels a woman or a man. Why can't you just be yourself without the mutilation? Almost seems like the world is backwards on how people are programed to think, that they need this gender transformation to be considered how they want to be treated. I think this is truly the sick part of it all, making people think you're a hero for this when you should just be accepted however you want to be without fitting into the cookie cutter status society made you think you have to be in. Then idolizing it like it's some noble act.

It is almost like the delusional women who think they need to look like barbie to be pretty.
