I disagree with comments saying you should make the videos shorter. Lots of good information would be lost. These videos are basically like free lessons, people should be happy.

I am truly blown away by your coaching! So many concepts that are explained so brilliantly. I loved the volley and back hand slice lessons, and how I wish we had met long ago. I had so much frustration trying to learn from various coaches. All big fails. Until now. Great going Steve, I am now your big fan. Thank you very much

The best instruction on the volley on the internet barring none...

This video is absolutely *brilliant* and contains correct tips I haven't seen elsewhere. Others try to oversimplify to the point where it starts to lose validity for even intermediate players, whereas this video explains how it really is. Thanks Coach Steven!

I got done and said Wow, another amazing video. So many good points, matched with demonstrations and drills. Love it. Those Attention Deficit Disorder guys need to just watch six minutes and take a break; it is called the pause button. I love the detail.

You are providing alot of value in these videos, so thank you! I love how your techniques apply to all strokes like pop n lock. And now wall to the ball.

I really like the wall concept as a mental framework for volleying. thanks

I find your biomechanical analysis of volleys more insightful AND EFFECTIVE than any I've encountered. I've watched six different approaches to building solid volleying technique but I've found yours to e the one that helped me break through. To some degree I'm certain it's an accumulation of techniques I've gleaned from the previous instructors, but this is the series that has been spectacularly productive. Other than the overhead I've always found volleying to be the most challenging shot to master. Thanks Steven

I see so many tennis channels, videos daily in multiple languages...and granted some of the best online don't have their premium content on Youtube for various reasons but I have to say, as far as knowledge and explaining concepts is concerned, you sir come out probably top 3 if not the best on Youtube along with Racquetflex, Top Tennis Training, and Intuitive Tennis. Good job and thank you.

The technical information given is very useful. It’s the little techniques that need improvement in order to make tennis less frustrating to play at 4.0-4.5 level.

You are one of the best technical coaches I've seen. (nearly 60, so seen a few). How did you acquire your tennis knowledge? Did you have a coaching mentor, or teach yourself? Well done, looking forward to more quality instructions in 2020. Thanks Steven.

Very interesting perspective. Makes a lot of sense but way different from what I have been told (which has left me still struggling).

Great points about not dropping your head while volleying. It was actually a baseball hitting coach who pointed out to me that I was doing this. They emphasize keeping the eyes on a level plane to be able to contact the baseball. Hitters are taught to take a smaller stride into the ball now because a big stride drops the height of the head and eyes.

Excellent video. I have been watching volley videos online for 6 months and this is the best one. You did not cover the overhead technique though.

Very very good for the last twenty years I have taught almost identical to this with the exception I discourage the step in volley

Young man like your videos but have a slightly disagree on the aspect of stepping I progress from stand still volleys I work on set up with the Blackfoot and push into the volley, never step into it . Secondly absoluteley essential is the stability of the non hitting shoulder during contact. Yes there are instances where you step you will notice in this video shows the Blackfoot push on the higher volley

Such a detailed lesson. I loved the all contents but suggest break down to few like first unit turn, second the steps, third posture and so on. It would be hard to kept viewer for over 20 mins in one go. Should not make it shorter for each topic becoz they were really great and helpful to player like me! But rather make it 6 mins video will be easier. Looking forward for next one! Thank you
