The individual health insurance market for folks under 65/ not eligible for Medicare can be a confusing place! This market is ever-changing, and options can differ from one year to another. This video reviews some of the main options that individuals have for health insurance right now (outside of group/employer health plans). Individuals can also explore Christian Health Share plan options, and/or supplemental health insurance options (not major medical).

Thank you for this. I need health insurance in AZ. Gave my number on a site and the calls went stop. Sadly I feel like I'm being pressured into something! I hate it!

You have informative videos. But I can comment on this subject as I have been on ACA for 3 years, now 62. Whether or not you qualify for the tax credit can make a HUGE different in your cost. And if you have an HSA compatible ACA plan, you can still contribute to your HSA to lower your MAGI $7500 a year.. My payment in 2019 is ZERO/month with a 2400/mo premium paid fully by subsidy (so yes ACA premiums are very high!). The basic math is say you have a 50K gross income (from an IRA). You get 24K standard deduction (married) then a 7.5K HSA contribution lowers your MAGI to about 17K which will get you a very large subsidy. Also you did not mention Health Sharing plans which can be a good option for some.
