David Montgomery is the unsung hero of the Detroit Lions.
He carried the team. He lead the team in rushing yards, consistently moved the chains, was dependable at the goal line, and had the longest play from scrimmage last year. Yet, he doesn't get talked about much. He gets overshadowed by St. Brown, Jamo, LaPorta, Goff, Penei, Jahmyr, Hutchinson, etc. But he was one of the most important pieces last year. And he's a dog.

The best thing I ever learned in my life was :ITS NOT PERSONAL.
My boss yelled at me so bad one time and I musta looked at him a certain way because we were tight and he was like “ITS NOT PERSONAL”. And for the longest I didn’t get it. One day, I understood it and it’s changed my life at work. It changed how I act, how I deal with people and everything. It’s a relief. I can be dealt with and coached hard now and it doesn’t bother me even a little because I know it doesn’t mean a person doesn’t like you, just means you suck right now.. So learn that if you haven’t already. They’re probably yelling at your work, NOT YOU!!

Im so excited for the season! Im still a little bit worried about that secondary though. CD wasnt the greatest last year and two rookies back there. Hope they prove me wrong!
