Every time I think about getting a new car Dave Ramsey shows up on my feed, I think it’s a sign 😅😭

Dave, should I finance a Lambo even though I still have 40 million in student loan debt and credit cards?

Anyone want to bet that 40k is for an oversized F150 truck that he likely has no need for whatsoever?

What's the point of calling if you're gonna have a defensive attitude like that

He is so impressed with that 1.9% interest on a 40k car

This is the kind of guy that thinks he’s ‘making bank’ pulling in $100k but never looks on the other side of the balance sheet. Probably bought some F150 King Ranch that he negotiated ‘down’ to $52k and drove it off the lot thinking he was living large. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I’m a high school teacher. I teach a course called money matters. I do my best to save these YouTube videos to share to the young people in my class. I’ve been trying to get your course for a couple years, but the district is having problems funding it. I just wanted to thank you for putting these videos on public media, it is AWESOME to see the flash of recognition and learning that crosses these kid’s faces when they see the mistakes their friends and family make. I have so many of them come up to me after I show a clip and tell me, “coach, this is my family, we struggle like this” . You are changing lives dude, keep it up, I know you changed my family’s life. Props.

He’s literally driving mortgages on wheels.

Update: Rich went out and bought a new BMW at 18% APR, and he rolled over the negative equity of his previous vehicle.

I see this all the time...I run a store and we only sell high line cars. I refuse to have the banks that do loans at 15%+ because it’s essentially financial suicide. I tell them other dealers will be happy too but I won’t be able to sleep at night knowing they are killing themselves

Your car is like other annual salaries.

Dave is right. Rich isn’t going to do anything since he comes off as very, very arrogant and argumentative. He’ll enjoy being buried in car debt.

This guy is hardheaded. Arguing with Dave.

Fell into this trap in my mid 20s. Got rid of the thing within a year. Had some negative equity..but i got a corolla and the loan was reduced to something manageable at a 1.9 rate. Thank goodness i did that. I would have lost much more if i held onto that vehicle. Stinks to lose some money but the learning experience was huge.

I bet any money it’s a loaded F series pickup truck. A lot of guys out there with a $650 per month truck payment trying to show off.

Not gonna lie everytime I get the urge to do something stupid, I listen to Dave's videos for reason like I really want this sports car (Toyota86) which I could get used for 15k but instead of financing it I'm just saving up for it to buy cash, thanks Dave for the good insight.
