I love how Luffy initially misread the wanted poster (no surprise really). But humiliating an emperor, and getting away with it is definitely worth a 1.5 Billion berry bounty. But calling him an emperor at this stage is definitely Morgans' doing. It only became official after Wano.

Tactically, Luffy won. I mean, he accomplish which is to steal the poneglyph etchings, and rescue Sanji, and to top it off, he defeated her strongest son Katakuri, and to add insult to injury, her crew was helped by Sanji during one of her hunger pangs, by feeding her a wedding cake.
Luffy and Straw hats might've not won the fight, but they won the war.

I was actually pretty shocked to hear that Arlongs VA was voicing teach.
Also. I started watching the dub in one piece from the very beginning and found a bunch of interesting things.


Turns out Todd habberkorn and Patrick Seitz were on one piece a long time ago along with Vic Mignona and Eric Vale.
Habberkorn voiced Sion of the Meowban Brothers and before he was Franky, Patrick voiced Kurobi. The fishman that Sanji fought back in Arlong Park.

And Vic and Eric voiced a whole bunch of side characters like Nezumi

at this point of OP, BlackBeard was 100% correct, the title of 5th emperor didn't fit Luffy, but after Wano yeah he truly has earned the title
