People often forget how strong Usopp actually is. The entire Enies arc he got smashed, wiped, demolished and got back on his feet every single time, he has been at the verge of dying as much as Zoro or Luffy have. He's just not a heavy hitter yet! I'm rooting for him that post-Elbaf he has earned enough striking power to single handle at least one God's Knight.

EDIT: 1k likes! Love for Usopp is real. Since I posted this Ive been thinking about it, and read some folklore in depth, I changed my mind a bit, I think Usopp is going to be the best deceiver in the world and if he meets Loki there would be a race between the two in this regard.

I think being a deceiver will come crucial for the final war and Usopp will defeat his mayor challenge with a comical end, not power. But we'll see :D

To me, Usopp is born exeptionally with Haki abilities. I think because of his negative and cowardly character he was not able to enhance it. Maybe when he is trully a brave warrior then we might get to see all his haki that can rival with Luffy.

The amount of times Luffy's grandfather could've died in order to take down Gold Roger who surpassed the Emperors & with only 2 types of Haki is truly legendary. Now for plot sake, Ussop really needs to make every Haki shot count if he wants to make a name for Sogeking.
