I suck at Maths! My tutor taught me this today and nothing went to my head but this tutorial really made me understand geometric progression to some extent!! Thank you so much!!

Absolutely top notch lesson. Thank you so much. I've been training myself to become a programmer for a while now but I also love mathematics, so I find myself often making programs involving mathematics. Using math, you can find O(1) constant time algorithm solutions, which is the fastest kind of algorithms you can possibly have.

Go on my website and look in the index for geometric progression, sum to infinity. It is there.

Fantastic video, as a mature student self teaching my A levels this is a fantastic resource.

I noticed a small mistake at the end of this video,
when you work out the sum of the first 10 terms you have divided by "3-1" instead of "4-1"

Sorry to say, but there is no mistake. It is r-1 which is 3-1 as the common ratio is 3. I think you are doing a-1 rather than r-1.

Can u do this step by step: The first fifth seventh terms of an AP correspond to the first consecutive terms of a decreasing GP. The first term of each progression is 64, the common difference of the AP is "d" and the common ratio of the GP is "r". a) I) write 2 equations involving "d" and "r" ii) find the values of "d" and "r"
