the answer to why it picks up more channels is because of the tuner in the tv the newer ones get better reception than the older ones the older tv couldve had a tuner that worked fine from 08-13 but as soon as they changed something with the ota signals they make it to where you have to buy a new tv or get another setup for the antenna so you can watch more programs from ota

The audio on this tv blew me away better then any tv ive ever had actually ditched my old surround sound for the tv sound i know crazy but i will admit i dont use the streaming functions my console does better

I have the tv the problem is not with internet connection its with apps themselves they lag a lot and you have to cut power off completely then turn it on

On remote press APPS, select TV Browser, press OK, add “+” your favorite browser if you need to, select browser, press OK, use direction keys to move cursor, press Ok to initiate input.  Got to say moving cursor and entering input data is slow; does anyone know if you can attach wireless mouse and keyboard to TV?

Was thinking about buying this. Not the apps I really care about. I like the metallic frame, but is it worth the risk of a dead TV? Seems like the cheaper brands now are having all sorts of technical problems and screens shorting out super fast. Haven't found too many reports of that with this one yet... but they're not very old either. The model number has already changed on this.

I just don't get why anyone gets a smart tv nowadays. Hook your computer up to the tv, wireless mouse and qwerty and stop expecting your tv to be the processor for your internet streaming.

in order to view Amazon Video, it would be better to get a firestix, i have the same problem on my Vizio TV

I see Walmart has this Sharp 50" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160p) HDR Smart TV for $289! Not bad for a bedroom TV. Think I’m a purchase it. Prices have dropped
