This is a huge victory. The Watchtower isn't outright banned, they're just "no part" of the world. They've said it for years, and not that they're being treated like that they're throwing a tantrum? This is the best we could ask for. It's just costing them money to be incomprehensible, pharasiacal busy bodies. Absolute win :)

This is from Switzerland. Me, my wife with our two kids (9 and 11) faded away two years ago. We're not disfellowshipped but all our friends quit contact nonetheless. I meen we're being shunned... just shows how effective the internal rules work. and how cowardish they present them selves to the outside world

Watchtower has made it clear that the two witness rule, and the disfellowship arrangement are hear to stay. They said they would never change and I believe them.
Watchtower loves money this is true.

Why would a secular government subsidize a religion in the first place? Not being subsidized is not persecution, it is a neutral stance. The default status if you will. The decision is a victory for sure. So congrats to everyone that made it happen.

Watchtower needs to speak to my elder brother and his family, who began shunning me the day I left JW religion, 36 years ago. I’ve never been disfellowshipped nor did I ever write any sort of disassociation letter. He also tried to get my parents to shun me, they refused.
