This did not work for me. I also tried unplugging to reboot and this works until the next ad plays and when it reloads it goes to black again. I can't even uninstall YouTube to reinstall the app! ARGH!

I just unplugged the tv, replugged and it came up

This worked! It wasn't there at first as I've never used the YouTube app, but once I came up black and I hit "Exit" on the remote I was able to follow these instructions

This didnt work but I got some ideas from the comments. Select the youtube app and when nothing comes up, hit the exit button on your remote and then open the youtube app again.

Bulshit. Go to settings / General/ Start setup. 0000 Pin.Follow instructions from there. WiFi will not change.Youtube restored.

This DID NOT work for me. I have found that the only thing that works for me with any of the apps and when the wifi won't work is to simply unplug the tv and plug it in. Usually works right away. Fixed my YouTube app problem instantly.
