Thanks for the awesome review... A lot of work went into this. And am a one man show... Takes me ages coz am a sucker for quality vs quantity.. painstakingly went through everything.

Zsh was a one time test will be reverting back to bash coz it simply ain't playing nice with lolcat. Besides that our Filesystem tool and Rollback GUI will be updated for next release.

This is a distro that looks attractive out-of-the-box, I am not a ricing fan, so I would consider trying this out for a couple of weeks with stock setting except for the top panel. It's looks kind of reminds me of PeuxOS, especially the wallpaper

This is a great review. I hadn't really heard of Xero Linux before but I am impressed just based on what you've shown alone. I'm a big Manjaro fan so this distro will be right up my alley. I'm really liking where Linux is going and hopefully more people will jump on and experience the freedom of choice it brings.

I really like the idea that you can select the packages you really want to have and that they will get downloaded when you install them - so you will have the most up to date version right out of the gate.
The downside is that even somebody who has used Linux in the past, you may don't know which driver versions you really should pick (eg. what is the difference between one and the other audio driver)

8:11 samba is for network drives like a NAS (imo samba is better than nfs because it supports password protection)
