Stephanie is a Rock Star! Three kids, a full time job, part time jobs and promotion at work??? She is a dynamo. If she can do it, what's holding us back?

“You are either investing or letting inflation eat away at your purchasing power” saw this somewhere and it really resonates with me. I have about $300, 000 sitting in a HYSA and I want to invest it. Where would you invest this as of now?

Here is a marriage tip for husbands (and wives) out there. Put trust in your spouse’s capabilities rather than point fingers. My husband was very very clever about getting me on board about our finances together. I was not so interested before and was spending more than I should on random stuff. One day he asked me if I wanna be our family finance manager. He challenged me to come up with an investment plan for the entirety of what we saved up in our savings account, to make careful decision on balancing the risk and return and try to make the best out of what we have together. That trust he gave really motivated me to start learning about investing, about budgeting and retirement planning. We now learn together, share and discuss strategies and knowledge I learned with him and it has improved our relationship so much on top of having greater financial situations. Marriage is a two ppl thing, we are in the same boat riding waves.

Unless you create a budget together and you both onboard with the budget, there is no point making the budget, else it is just a piece of paper with instructions trying to restrict his/her spending. So blessed I am no longer married. I honestly don't think I could navigate spending with another human being and I was married for 20 years.

Congrats Steph my situation is very similar to yours. I’m 37, I have a 16 year old and two smaller kids. I have 105k in debt just like you did. You just inspired me to get out of debt. Thank you!

No credit card debt is a huge weight lifted! Completed it for the first time in 30 years! I don't make a huge salary but I have no stress now either! Now I can start to build wealth! It's slow but it's happening finally! (Notice all my exclamation points... that's how excited I am about my financial situation at the moment)

I got goosebumps when they yelled "I'm debt free!" This is a beautiful story. Very inspirational. One day I will say those same words.

I think that the best shows are with Dave and Rachel. You just never know how she is going to react to her dad! 😂 plus, she is the only one that challenges him

The one husband thought he was implementing the Ramsay plan, and was upset because his wife used the credit card to buy clothes for the kids. But he really didn't understand it. When he made the budget (yes, he made it, not they made it) he didn't put in anything for kids clothes. Who knew that kids would grow and need new clothes?! What a surprise!

Stephanie has me in tears! That scream with her daughters was such a huge weight off their shoulders! And for her to bring the whole family to TN from Boston was a testimony so that her daughters will never forget. I’m so proud of her and with her income, she’s going to really live and give like no one else, I can just tell ❤️

This was confirmation for me. 🎉🎉🎉. I’m going all in. I have $104K in debt and that includes my house. If Stephanie can do it, so can I. Stephanie thank you for your testimony.
