As a wiccan and the way I ve learned(not part of the golden dawn or anything) most of the natural elements are used as symbols and ways to focus your energy as it is the basic of magick
The use of metals are also taught in wiccan astrology and not only the golden dawn. They are used to make talismans which are charged with our own energy
There might be other ways of this information but it is the way iv learned ❤
