A few youtubers who I usually really enjoy but they seem to be producing content that is not scary, paranormal, mysterious so I would be fine if these " stranger danger " after school specials were put in a compilation once in a while. I first started listening to this podcast say about four years ago. The only info. that i had was the
Peterson video. But, before that the national news said people
were having a cookout near a river,
in the state of California, when they
saw an enormas man swimming, across the river towards them, but it turned back. The episode of the
six million dallor man fighting Bigfoot, which made the legend seem fake.
In this podcast, witnessess give us
a discription of Bigfoot, long hair on their head, eyes set wide apart,
big chest, and long arms, black,
brown, and sort of redish. I ask you are they all lying or is it mass
hysteria. The people that have the
expierence of encounters of Bigfoot are so fortunate, to see Bigfoot.
In my area Bigfoot can not
survived, but the government and
state, they are buying and setting aside land.
We now have a lot of deer and wild pigs as a matter a fact, the wild hogs come out off the woods, and come to town. At night, you can hear them circuling
the house, and looking for something to eat. This is because
the river and surrounding area is
off limit, so maybe Bigfoot might
migrate to our area, but it will be to late for me since I'm already 80 yr's old.

if we're going to entertain that sasquatches exist, imo the idea that they're surviving Gigantopithecus makes almost no sense and I don't understand why it remains such a popular theory among the more scientifically-minded bigfoot believers. Gigantopithecus was actually bigger than all but the largest reported sasquatches, definitely wasn't built to stand upright for more than brief periods, let alone walk bipedally at all, was much more like a giant orangutan physically than how sasquatches are usually described, was fully herbivorous rather than an omnivore, and also all signs point to it having been both likely less intelligent and much less human-like than sasquatches are again usually reported to be. Gigantopithecus almost certainly did not have a face with a human-like hooded nose, nor feet that looked even close to as much like ours as purported sasquatch prints, and this isn't even touching on how often sasquatches are attributed an aptitude for tool use that almost certainly exceeds something like a massive orangutan, and possibly even some capacity for a kind of speech (if we're going to take the "Sierra Sounds" tapes as credible evidence, and tbh if you're a bigfoot believer you probably should, because they're arguably one of the least easily-debunked pieces of supposed evidence you've got).

If they exist, it'd make far more sense for them to be much more closely related to our species, possibly an early offshoot of our genus Homo or the closely-related Paranthropus, and there are a few known examples of more human-like hominids that seem to have regularly reached into the 7 ft.+ bracket for height (such as Homo rhodesiensis, although having only apparently lived deep in Africa and having been extremely similar to Homo erectus and therefore us, it might not be the best match in itself), and this would also arguably handily explain several things that seem like major oddities if we assume bigfoot is just like one of the other living non-human great apes, only bigger (the fact that their range is more like ours than that of any other great apes--which are fairly geographically-confined--, the fact that they have a number of habits more like ours than any other great ape, the fact they apparently must be smart enough to not end up as roadkill or easy prey for a trigger-happy hunter, possibly even the fact that no conclusive DNA has been found, as it would be very difficult to positively ID something with 98-99% the same genetics as us unless you basically sequenced most of its genome, otherwise the DNA would easily appear human). Sure, the whole thing of them apparently being nocturnal and having reflective eyes is still pretty perplexing when no other "higher" primates have those features, but since earlier prosimians (like lemurs) were frequently nocturnal with reflective eyes, I suppose you could maybe explain it as an atavism (older traits of certain evolutionary lineages do have a marked tendency to re-emerge, sometimes).

In any event, I get that people think they gain credibility by arguing that bigfoot is a relict population of a known extinct species from the fossil record, but the amount of shoehorning you have to do imo to make bigfoot fit with the Gigantopithecus hypothesis negates that, since one of the main arguments sasquatch proponents even have is that so many eyewitnesses have reported mostly the same consistent features and behaviors over and over for such a long time, so a hypothesis which requires you to ignore a substantial portion of those consistent features to make it work just strikes me as a pretty bad hypothesis no matter where you stand on the whole thing, and tbh bigfoot researchers might gain at least a tiny shred more credibility if they dropped it imho.

Also, if we want to touch on more tinfoil hat territory, the presence of an uncontacted other species of essentially humans or near-humans in the wilderness of North America (or anywhere, really) would actually make some sense as a thing governments might want to cover up, as it would have all kinds of inconvenient implications for land use and conservation, not to mention the philosophical implications and how much it could really throw creationists and human exceptionalists in general (among others) for a loop.

Another thing people need to understand is that Bigfoot has been in Native American culture for thousands of years depicted in cave drawings and native cultures not only in USA but other counties as well people keep forgetting that it’s not some creature that Hollywood made up. For beef jerky commercials. They been here longer than we have. These creatures are ancient. And I believe they do exist maybe their population is not as big as we think it is or maybe it’s bigger than we think it is. We don’t have any type of data or actual proof to say how many there are I believe that maybe 40 to 50% of the sightings are actually real, who’s going to run around in a monkey costume in the middle of nowhere with no roads no vehicle access or helicopters it’s not possible humans aren’t that fast and we’re definitely not fast on hills and steep, treacherous up hill terrain. In all directions . We don’t have that balance or strength. You can be the best climber in the world. We cannot move as fast as people claim to have seen these things move don’t think the government will ever come forward and recognize this creature as being real because they have too much money to make & to lose on tourism and infrastructures at one point in time people did not know about silverback gorrils just like every other creature that we found or haven’t found yet so much untapped wilderness in this world. We can’t be everywhere at once maybe in the future will be able to scale every end of the planet, technologically but right now I don’t think we have the manpower to do that it will take millions of humans billions and billions of dollars and countless hours and years of tedious research we’re blind to a lot of things not literally but mentally. And the human race is a very young species. There’s billions of species that rolled this earth that still have not been found as of right now, but will be in the future just like the ocean and the Amazon forest., my theory is the government already knows about that. They lied to us about everything in this world that the government knows about that they would never tell us think about that next time you tell people that they’re lying not everybody is a lying hoaxer . 50 years from now maybe there will be super powerful cameras at 100% visibility at night that can maybe capture them in exquisite detail. The government probably already has that too. They just don’t come forward with these types of things.
