It would have been nice if you shared the carry distances along with ball speed and spin rates.

I went for a fitting with titleist and went home with the same TSR 2 and a heavier weight in the back cut down the 44.5”. The 3 wood was the money club for me in GT model, I had a TSI before and the GT blew the doors on it . The few extra yards was not worth the money and the fitter understood this and helpline out plus the fittings are done outside

Thanks for the objective try of a review. You are totally right, only a comparison with the identic shafts in each model brings hard facts and trusty results. It seems The GT 3 does what i expect from a driver - a high trajectory with more carry and spin to place a ball better on the fairway. So my old 907 Titleist driver did and, if I'm generous to me, maybe in future a GT 3 does.... Thanks for the informative content! Cheers

An excellent vlog as always Andy though I have to admit the plethora of antes and models from all manufacturers leaves me confused LOL.
Cheers

It's so difficult to get totally correct data Andy because as we know that we're not machines and every drive will be slightly different. As you say, whatever you feel comfortable with is the club you should use. I think golfers are getting wiser these days and are not being swayed by all the hype of new products.

I was fit for GT3 at a Titleist event. They could not get the spin up. I ended up in a 10° head lofted to 11.5°. Which blew my mind. And Tigers Graphite Design VF 7x. My current gamer was Tsi3 at 7.25°. Fittings matter.

The GT head is lighter than the TSR which would affect the overall performance of your gamer shaft.

They are surprisingly similar with their performance, I will be upgrading my 4 year old driver next year, I know it probably won’t make me hit further but as long as its straighter that will do me 👍.

I bought the Mizuno and I think it’s the best I’ve ever had

What is the point of just telling spin rates and ball speed without carry distances and total rollout distances? Some drivers will go further than others even though the ball speed is higher. It’s just a number, this test was incomplete. Useless

Hey now. I’m confused. No worries, still solid content. 🥂

People that expect major gains these days are just crazy. They can’t really do anymore to gain yardage outside of making the club more aerodynamic to increase speed and add forgiveness. At this stage if you’re upgrading all the time, you’re wasting your money. You may just get a slightly more forgiving driver

Don't play a 8* head is what I got from it 😂

So this is why Titleist compares its drivers to previous models. If they put it against other OEMs they get smoked, but they can always say they were better than last year's model?
