I just purchased a used TSI3 9°. The sure fit system made the difference for me. Titleist makes great drivers. I paid $250, then changed the shaft to a Hzrdus 6.0 60g shaft. I’ll keep the X-Stiff shaft.

I don’t think I’ll get much difference in the GT from any of the last three generation.

Don’t care about the sound, stay in the fairway!!

The golf ball makes a huge difference, the compression of the golf ball had an huge effect on the ball speed. Try it with a Pro V1x like you did in the fitting

I replaced my tsi3 with hzrdus black 6.0 60g shaft with GT3 Denali red 6.0 50g CB shaft. My normal total distance would be 250/260 yards. I was hitting 280 into a strong wind and 291 with side wind. I was carrying bunkers I’d normally be short of. Dispersion amazing too, incredible club.

I generally wait 6 months and those people who bought them thinking it would make them a better driver of the ball will be looking to move onto their next thing and you should be able to pick up used for ~ 50% of RRP

Taylormade I look at it and wow it will get me to the next level. Then when Titleist pulls out the GT it's like it's an auto level up. Impressive.

Had my first fitting for gt2 at the weekend, was surprised it looks and sounds the same as tsr2. Will hold off on talking performance until I’ve had the second session

What impact does ball use mean for ball speed. You tested Titleist balls for the fitting? Not Vice. Just curious.

Alex compare your GT 3 to the QI10. I am gaming the QI10 Max. I love it. When you play 1 course all the time you get lulled into thinking you are a short driver. But then you play a different course you realize you can really drive the ball a long distance. Friday of next week I am going for my GT driver and fairway fitting. 3 wood is the reason for my fitting. I am hoping to find the best 3 wood for my game. I have tried the QI10 Max, Ping G30 and Mizuno. QI10 has been the best for me this summer but I’m still leaving my approach shots short of the green. In the past I’ve been on the green in regulation. I am thinking the GT will help my game. I’ve used a TRSI in the past and loved it.

I’ve played the qi10, and the callaway triple diamond this year so far. Qi10 is my favorite by far. But I got my footing coming up for the GT so we will see. I’ve hit it a few times and it does feel and look amazing but if the numbers aren’t much different I won’t be getting it

$650?!?! It will be years before I'll be able to pick one of these up on the "Perviously Owned" market. But if you have deep pockets and the skill to exploit it, why not? Good luck with new driver Alex.

Alex you hit driver in fitting with titleist balls not vice so try a titleist see if ball speed goes up you can thank me later 👍

Well, you were getting fit with Titleist golf balls and now you're hitting the Vice -- that could be the reason for the speed drop off. I'd think you would know that.

I was fitted a few days ago, well I am not that excited as you are, gain only 1m (1.5m to be exact) over my 917D2 from 2016 !! is it worth to invest 950€? (extra 350€ shaft only) not so sure
