The PowerCab is a very popular DCC system made by NCE. I think proportionally it actually may be more popular in the UK than in the USA. And the great thing about it is how quick and easy it is to install. In this video I'll go ver the components, tell you a little about how it works, and do a full installation, and then we'll run a loco on the layout just to give it a good test. Thanks. Very useful as I have just started investigating what my PowerCab can do. I have, however, added holding a jig saw in front of the blade to the list of things that make me wince and close my eyes (the other is a chef using a mandolin to slice vegetables, which can give new meaning to the words “finger food”). 🙂

Hi Larry, cheers for that, I use the PowerCab and am very happy with it, I don't run more than 3 locos so it suits me very well. At some point I want to add an additional throttle, have you an opinion on the NCE engineers throttle? Many thanks, Kevin.
