I like to get a bowl, pour some water in, then add some feed, mix it, and add a bit of different feed for a variety, my chickens love it, it’s their gourmet dish. 🐓❤

Love this ❤ we do similar for our chickens. They also get warm mash every morning. It’s like their porridge 😂

My chickens get a regular daily diet of equal parts 5-grain scratch (includes whole wheat grain and BOSS) and 20% protien Flock Raiser granules. In addition, they get fresh produce (whatever produce the local grocery store is pitching) 2x a day. They love it and seem to be happy chickens. The abundance of eggs supports that observation 😊

I used test pop (a near pop corn company would give out trash bags of popcorn that they made to check batches), cracked corn, millet, and whatever cereal (oats, Cheerios, , , ) was found at auction (boxes or bags damaged) sometimes rabbit pellets or alfalfa bits

Growing sunflowers is so easy, don't need alot of water, the entire plant is useable. Might even self-seed.

How do you do the food for quail? I was told they are a small game bird. Is this the same feed? Do you make it smaller for them?

You probably spend so much money on your chickens and other birds, I only have 4 chickens and they eat their food quick, and feed is expensive. That’s why it’s good to start a garden and get chickens.
