I will never touch these "insurance inspections" they accuse you of damaging when all you are doing is checking for them.

I installed solar for like five years and roofed on the side. It's crazy how many bad roofs they had us install solar on.

I’m an adjuster of 10 years, any adjuster who even looks at this roof and cannot tell it’s too brittle to repair shouldn’t be in the insurance industry.

The insurance company is not to blame. Shingles are garbage. Homeowners are on the hook.

Commercial roof consultant, inspector here. I don't even need too get on that roof too know it has a zero life expectancy. It has reached the end of its serviceable life. I hate insurance companies. We often get hired after some insurance companies deny a claim too a client and I'd say 99 percent of the time they are wrong

It's an old roof the homeowner needs to be on the hook for that shit. insurance is going up double in the last year. Bunch of scammers out there.

The internet's so stupid. This guy's like I'm going to use a flat bar so I don't damage anything and then I'm going to completely destroy the shingle. What was the point of the flat bar then?

Vaughn blue bar much more effective n fits in belt instead of wonder bar especially cleaning up step flashing

How old is the roof? It's seems like a 25 or 30 year roof that's 20 or 25 years old. Getting rhe insurance company to pay for it seems like a scam. Helping raise everyone's rates one roof at a time. They're making 750 to 1000 dollars a square then pay a real roofers 100 a square to tear it off and put it back on. This company is making more than the people doing the actual work. I can fully understand replacing that side of the roof and cap, but the homeowner should have to pay for the other sides if there isn't damage from the "storm." The main problem is they're allowed to sell these shingles and say they're 25 and 30 year shingles when they hardly last 15 years. These companies are making millions off the insurance companies and costing the people who pay the rates and aren't getting their roofs replaced money every year. It's great for the people getting their roof replaced. They pay an extra 50 a month and get a 10 or 20 thousand dollar roof done. Does finding a loophole and exploiting it make you an honest person? I sure wouldn't feel like I was. I quit one of these companies after 3 weeks. The best thing to do is not answer the door for these people and put them out of business.
