Kurt even liked the packaging, he's keen to try it out. He loved that.

BIG TIP, don't overdue it with this brush, it can take out too much hair sometimes, and actually trims a bit of hair with the "sharp part". Just don't use it more than once a week, and keep the brushing session pretty short and you'll be good :)
(I've owned a furminator, and two shorthaired but crazy shedding cats for many many years!)

My cat is a medium-long hair, very soft and fuzzy coat with lots of shedding. I use a conventional brush regularly, but I got the long version of the Furminator last year. Normal brushing does well with the over-coat, but the Furminator pulls out a huge amount of under-coat the regular brush missed. Those little teeth do not cut, but rather they snag the ends of loose undercoat and draw it out. My cat loves both treatments. Surprisingly effective.

Kurt is puurrrfect! Absolutely love watching him. He reminds me of my late cat, Nala, who passed away last November.. it broke my heart, she was just about to turn 16 years old. She was a rescue kitty who I adopted at 6 months old and was just the best cat ever. I can see how much Kurt loves you. Thank you for taking such great care of Kurt, and all the others! 😽💖

Hey Kurt get yourself an EquiGroomer Brush. It's not fancy looking but a lot of professionals use it.

I got the equigroomer for my cats. They quite literally beg to be brushed with it every day.

I have that, but stopped using it: it cuts hair... it took me a few months of using, but I started getting more comfortable to use it knowing it doesn't hurt, but eventually it just kept removing more and more hair. Then i looked for reviews... and there it was, if you actually use it for real (not whatever you did :P) it will work great, until it works too well... reviews said people notice their cats with patchy hair: it cuts fur! There is another great tool for undercoat without ANY metal blades: the equigroomer. And you need to use it properly, it's for the undercoat, completely different from the brush. You need to press a bit more, but slowly, until you start seeing it remove the undercoat. Your brush is not for the undercoat, you need both tools... and you don't need to pass it immediately in the back near the tail. When he lifts like that, it's kinda overstimulating him, he can get too uncomfortable and leave, no need for that... Maybe he's trusting you a lot and won't leave for now, but you're still provoking it.... there's a lot of undercoat to remove around the neck, head, upper back, that's where you need to spend time for starters! Again, you need to get the feel of it working, which you didn't in this video :/

I haven’t brushed my rabbit in a while but he just sheds it. I really should use one of those again.

I made a small slipper out of my cat’s hair collected through brushing. He likes playing with it (but not putting it on).😂
