Vic goes over this week's finds.

Base Leg Aviation is coordinating with the EAA to offer our books at a 20% discount both on Airventure grounds and online during Airventure week.

The show special prices will be as follows:
Are Your Nuts Tight Guide to Identifying Problems on Your Amateur-Built Aircraft-$60

Pre-buy Guide for Amateur-Built Aircraft- $100.

If you attend Airventure you will find the books in the EAA warehouse and possibly other EAA stores. This will give you a chance to check out the books in person prior to purchasing. If you have no room to carry one home, you can order online during Airventure week and have them shipped.

This quick subject to subject to subject format is great. Thank you Vic.

buy Vic's books; they are invaluable both during the build and after the first flight!
Thanks, Vic, for the segment about the standby alternator's shear-coupling and checking the standby alt. every 3 flights; that makes sense, but was new to me. I only checked it once so far, but will now have it as part of my routine in-air checks.

Thanks for the tip on the ignition coils - do you know if the pmag electronic ignitions can be checked in a similar way?

Great content. One suggestion, shorten your intro, it is way too long and dizzying. Almost made me stop watching. Glad i stuck around.
