We are asked to use version 2018.4, but no 2018.x versions work at all on GNU/Linux! Is this issue a kind of trolling over GNU/Linux users?

is there is any requirements to be able to befit from this steam? Note: i didn't do anything with unity yet i got it installed but don't have the time to check the docs yet
P.S im full stack web developer using .net c#.

It seems like making a 2D games is getting more complicated than 3D nowaydays. Especially isometric.
Can't just drag and drop some navmesh, I had to write a pathfinder script myself.
Can't drag and drop anything really without getting the sort-order, tile anchor offset, tilemap origin offset, Cell-center origin to get the correct position as it corresponds to the tilemap.

FPS.. Again?! What beginner is mad enough to want to makea 3d fps game, instead a charming, easy 2d game. Less math, less ressources, higher chance for success, easy to implement. What's next? Anothed fps multiplayer? (a rhetoric question)
