This is not how I cut pineapples. I'm not saying that you are wrong, I'm just saying that you wasted a lot of pineapple. Firstly, the brush at the top is shaved down and we hold it. Then we peal and slowly remove the spikes on the sides. Then remove the bottom. Then start cutting and you will have a beautiful star or flower shaped cuts af pineapple. For the top the only time we don't shave it like you just did we plant it and after some time you will have a new pineapple.
