Impacts of Wildfires and the Environmental Public Health Workforce

This Grand Rounds Seminar highlighted how the increasing number of wildfires have and continue to impact several communities with property destruction in addition to various health issues from smoke and fire exposure. Wildfires have long been thought of as being a responsibility of other agencies. This seminar provided a platform for local environmental public health professionals to discuss the vital role the environmental health workforce plays in wildfire response and recovery efforts.
