At least 114 people have been killed and hundreds remain missing after the wildfires this month in Hawaii, but there's also concern about how the fires will affect the coral reefs around Maui. Elizabeth Pickett, co-executive director of the Hawaii Wildlife Management Organization, joined CBS News to talk about the water pollution borne from the fire.

With wildfires becoming prevalent some ways should be developed to protect properties and lives. One way is to install a system of sprinklers around the properties and activate it when needed. The sprinklers should be connected to a system of water tanks and pumps. The pumps can be activated automatically or remotely. A microcomputer can be installed on the pump to activate it when a certain degree of temperature is reached.

I'm not sure what to believe when hearing the news, so I kinda dismissed the Maui fires news as being an arson attack or a covert government act on the part of the US, but then during the weekend I paused to consider that maybe what happened in Maui was an act of God. It could be, and it could be a warning. I was thinking that "Maui" sounds like a Frank Sinatra song called "My Way". The very first words of that Frank Sinatra song are, "And now, the end is near." So, you never know. If it was a warning from God, then what's relevant is who God is communicating with.
