Recover deleted files, using the recycle bin

Let say you have deleted a file,

To recover the file, open recycle bin,

And you will find the deleted file.

Right click on deleted file, & click ‘restore’,

And the file will be recovered.

To recover permanently deleted file

It will take you to disk drill page,

Click ‘Free download’, & install the software on your computer,

To recover deleted files from external store,

First connect the store to your computer, & open disk drill again,

Select the drive, where your file was, then click ‘Search for lost data’,

Disk drill will scan your storage, once done, click ‘Review found items’,

And it will show all the deleted files that is recoverable,

Once you found your deleted file, click on the eye icon,

To see the file, to recover the file, click ‘Recover’.

Select the location, and the recovery will start, once done,

You will find the deleted file on the location you selected,

Unfortunately the DDDRS app from the CleverFiles page gives an error message when I choose the os drive then to the continue button, it prompts for updated or newer DDDRS to be installed. What do i do now? Does that software not work for W11? I did DL the w10 version for as no w11 options were posted. Please help.

I am not able to see the deleted files in my drive, is it because i had the disk overwritten with other data.? There were no files of the same name overwritten. Will that matter while searching for the files too.? How difficult is it to find my files now.😢
