Mississippi has a systemic problem with law enforcement officer education and oversight. This officer absolutely believes he’s “in the right.” It’s scary. His entire career he’s evidently gotten away with treating citizens this way. Hell, if Jeff was black he probably would have been killed by this guy. Jeff, you MUST sue this municipality. I called Ocean Springs city hall this morning and got the receptionist. I ask if there had been a message release on the 1st amendment audit I'd seen on youtube. She said, she hadn't but would expect one. She said she was just the phone person. All this is paraphrased. I'm kind of slow this morning. I was nice and she was nice. I told her thanks and that I appreciated her.
