Add 3D Depth to a 2D Image AE (Simple Camera Projection)

good tutorial for beginners. your steps and explanations are very precise. you'd go straight to the point, i mean people are buffering and waiting for you to get to the point where they got stuck  in AE.

When I switch CAST SHADOWS to ONLY in the JPEG layer, everythings is blurry now, what's the problem? Thanks dude.

interesting question: what would happen if you were to use this for a video? persay set the camera at a low angle (on a tripod) and then do this so it looks as if it were filmed on a slider?

OMG TYSM!!! Took me months to learn it even though ive watched hundreds of tutorials, i stil had problems. You clearly explained everything :). I always got stuck on the part where you had to position the solid in the z space, and it had to ALIGN with it.. However, when i change the shadow map resolution to 4k, how come when i ram preview it, it laggs?

I am going mental here. I have been looking at 3 different tutorials on this now but cannot get it to work.
I get to the point where I change the Solid material settings but the projected image does not appear, only a big while light blob. :(
