HOW TO UPDATE XBOX ONE / SERIES X CONTROLLER FIRMWARE WITH WINDOWS 10 - FIXES DISCONNECTION BUG!

You can update your xbox controller firmware without an actual xbox.
Just connect the controller to your pc,
Then, download the XBOX Accessories app from the windows store.
As you run the app, you should immediately see if your controller requires an update.
This should take several minutes.
Recently Microsoft has released new update to address the controller disconnection bug.
So its highly recommended for you to go ahead and see if your controller need an update as well!
In addition, the XBOX Accessories app also allows you to test all the buttons.
This can be very handy if your controller acting weird.

Some games doesnot work with my new controller xbox series X, but the same games works fine with my old controller xbox series S. So my question is why ?

Just connect with USB and not Blue Tooth. Seems logical to you but it's not :) So yes, you need a USB cable to update and configure your controller with Windows 10
