Ranking Every Zelda Game WORST to BEST

Well... today I rank every Legend Of Zelda game (excluding Tears Of The Kingdom) from worst to best... remember take this opinion with a grain of salt. It doesn't mean anything I'm just here to vibe and this is all just based off of personal experience and my own opinion. Nothing more. Thank you for being chill... hopefully

I highly recommend you play ocarina of time 3D on the 3DS since you didn’t enjoy the original OoT. The graphical improvements and other slight quality of life improvements on it make it a very worthy remaster and I enjoyed it more than the original. You may still not like it and that’s okay but I hope you’ll give the game a second chance with this more modern version of it!

I absolutely love Zelda ll. It’s so challenging that I get a high out of how much concentration it demands from me. Everything else in my brain shuts off and I entirely focus on this game. It causes a highly interactive and interesting flow that doesn’t get beat often.

I'm 21, but Ocarina of Time 3D was my first Zelda game (I was around 12). It's dated, but I liked it, it's a top 5 Zelda game. I prefer Majora's Mask though, it's a lot more creative and strange, not to mention it has my favorite dungeons in the entire franchise (minus Great Bay). BOTW is up there too, but after playing TOTK for 40 hours, I think TOTK is my new favorite Zelda game.

I think if you were to give Twilight Princess HD a full playthrough on WiiU you'd be reminded of how great it is. There's a reason it's one of the most beloved amongst Zelda fans. Arguably has the best set of characters, and pretty undisputedly has the best set of dungeons, if either of those things are of interest to you.

I am 18 years old. Imo the best thing about zelda games are the sense of confusion they give you, as a young kid playing ocarina of time wind waker and majoras mask especially on my gamecube are some of the best moments ive had gaming. These games felt huge and crazy to me like whole worlds that were bizarre and interesting. Much more interesting than other nintendo games i played. When i got twilight princess i initially loved it but there was something that felt different that i couldnt put my finger on as a young kid, it felt more guided smaller and it felt like the world was designed for the player to interact with rather than just being a different world with its own rules that the player had to conform to and learn. As i got older i got into other games but when botw came out i started revisiting old zelda games and in my opinion, the ones that i get the most enjoyment out of in 2023 are still majoras mask ocarina of time and wind waker

Respect! I grew up w link to the past and ocarina but my top four are (not in order) link between worlds, link to the past, Minish cap, and ocarina, so I love seeing you give so much love to these 2d titles!

Zelda 2 was my first Zelda game so I would personally put that at A or S. I have a good memory of that game. So, it might be nostalgia for me.

I was so confused about The Legend of Zelda when I finally got to play it because I was expecting something similar to Zelda 2.

I think ocarina and Mario 64 are games you had to “be there” to truly appreciate. They were both mind blowing in a way I haven’t really experienced since. Enjoyed your take 😊
