I'd be lost without you I would add that it can take a considerable amount of time to get the side 5.0 emblems of and then cleaning the adhesive off. You're a wizard and make everything look so easy!

FYI ... the holes are NOT the same for the 2015 Mustang GT 50 Year Limited Edition. I learned this the hard way when my car was vandalized just under 2 weeks ago. The emblem that says, "GT 50 Years" is NOT replaceable by itself, you must replace with the whole panel (retail cost $840.00 + tax). Ouch!
Once the emblem is (ahem, correctly) taken off (not the way the vandals did it by breaking it off), there are 7 plastic clips holding it in place, not the 4 that are behind the pony, the GT, or the pony with tri-bars.
Therefore, 7 holes in the panel for this trim pkg. I'll try to post a picture when I'm done, what's left of the old panel (showing the locations of the 7 holes).

I was happy to support CJ's & Bill in puchasing this from them. Product is oem licensed and less than the oe part.

My observation thus far:

The glue in the 5.0 is awful, get as much as possible while the hairdryer is going. Have that adhesive remover. I used bug/tar remover, prewax and rubbing alcohol.
Front pony: I don't think it would be possible to reverse the lock washers out. I think my oe pony only had two locked anyway.
Next up is trunk, the long way.

That color combo looks awful. Swing by Autozone and grab dragon stickers for the sides of the car and a red flame steering wheel cover while you're at it...

pro tip: use acrylic laquer thinner or eraser wheel from autobody supply store to remove 5.0 adhesive

Be careful if removing the rear "GT" by prying it off. I ended up with a small dent in my trunk lid because the "G" snapped away from the "T". When that happened, the top right if the "G" dug into my trunk hood. SUCKS!

I am glad I watched this. I was thinking of completely removing the 5.0 emblem for a cleaner look but I won't if there are holes.

Looks sharp. If you "cheat" on the back panel badge installation, do the busted tabs from the stock badge rattle around inside? Also, can you get a back panel badge with a tri-bar like what comes with the Pony Package? I haven't seen such anywhere.

2021 GT here, wasn't able to remove front horse. The car has radiator shutters that are directly behind the grill. Had to break the horse from the outside.

Where do those plastic things that hold the gt badge go ? You pushed them in, so aren't they gonna move around in the trunk ?
