I managed to snag this one for just under $20 when Amazon had a flash sale before Christmas. I couldn't resist but to try it at that price. Great deal for a surprisingly good game! :-D

I agree but personally found the idea of being able to buy crown cards silly and haven't tried it. Have always used them as power cards

Its been a long time, but speaking of maps, ya gotta love the Warlords of Europe map....its got those luscious fields of grain, rugged mountains of stone, and forests of green etc. I didn't know that game existed, and just bought it at an absolutely insanely expensive price.

Great review, I bought the game recently because of it, though haven't received it yet. As far as the attack order goes for the special units, does it also apply to the defending force who may also have siege, archers, or cavalry? Or does it only apply to the person attacking that gets the bonus of free hits.

Good job, however I always get nervous with the phrase "for what this is" because I am never sure if what I think it is and the reviewer thinks this is is the same thing.

Hey...does anyone know where I can get some replacement peices for this game....I have tried Hasbro directly and eBay and so far had no joy Hasbro says they have discontinued the game and can't find the parts for RISK EUROPE on eBay....maybe somebody might know any other little companies?...or a forum?...thanks

Thanks good review just bought. For 20 bucks it does seem great. Almost bought Axis and Allies for 34 $ but to teach my gf's female friend I thought it would be too complex though I do want to learn that one. Any thoughts on Axis and Allies?
